SDG was born in 1991 in a small factory in Southern California. Since its establishment, SDG has consistently manufactured saddles and seatposts. Many of their models have a rugged, California-like design that works well with various genres of bikes, and as evidenced by the fact that they are loved by the world's top riders, their performance and design are highly regarded.

The "Bel Air V3 Animal Throwback," one of SDG's most iconic and popular saddles of all time, is back in limited production.
The base Bel Air V3 saddle features a rounded nose and a seat with a hollowed-out vertical center, and is known for its comfortable and soft ride. It is a versatile saddle that can be used not only for trail and enduro MTB, but also for cyclocross and road riding.
