the Shimano Dura-Ace BR-R9110-RS Rear Brake Calliper is equipped to provide increased overall braking performance 

and a more linear braking curve for modulation and control which was previously unachievable on rim brakes. 

While a traditional calliper is attached to a single central bolt, this Direct Mount is specifically designed 

for seat-stay position mounting and attaches to the frame with two fittings, one for each arm of the calliper. 

Since the entire calliper is placed closer to the frame, the result is much greater rigidity and improved braking control
