Installation tips:

1, due to increased offset by the oversized pulley system, please make sure your RD and frame are aligned and calibrated correctly.

2, please check the length of your chain. Here is how to calculate, chain should be 10-20mm longer than the RD at 0 tension (shown as the picture below) when rests on the smallest chainring and smallest cog.

3, to lower the requirements for chain length and RD/frame alignment, we introduce the new 16T pulley system, 17TS and 17TR. Compare with 17T, the power saving would be lowered by about 0.2 watts but increasing chain stability and shifting speed.

Why replace derailleur pulley wheel

Firstly, porous spring position limit could adjust back tension largely, improve the weakness of original weak stretch, and make the up and down chain tension between guide wheel and cogs much more adequately.

Secondly, the contact tooth number or control tooth number between chain and cogs of rear derailleur 17T is more during gear shifting, it just like to pinch the middle and two sides of some sticks, the larger the control lever, the stronger the control power.

Lastly, after redesign the cage’s rotation curve, the distance between upper guide wheel and the cogs is improved.

Installation steps

1.Remove the rear derailleur pulley wheel cage: Remove a hex screw on the side of the base of the pulley wheel cage using a No. 2 hex wrench. (The original pulley wheel cage has been removed in the photo)

2.Remove the hex screw, take out of the original pulley wheel cage and spring. (The original pulley wheel cage has been removed in the photo)

3. 17T carbon fiber pulley wheel cage, you can see 8 holes, marked in 1 to 4 is tension adjustment hole, the other four for reduce weight. The default initial mounting is hole 2. (tension: 4>3>2>1)

4.Install the selected spring mounting holes at the spring pins. The stainless-steel shaft on the pulley wheel cage should be greased before installation.

5.Push the pulley wheel cage into the hole of rear derailleur.

6.Rotating pulley wheel cage, setting pulley wheel cage rebound limit screw block in the rear derailleur.

7.Push the pulley wheel cage fully into the base of the rear derailleur.

8.Insert the hex screw into the hole on the side of the base of the rear derailleur using the No. 2 hex wrench.

9.Tighten the screw.

10.Repeated rotation pulley wheel cage, confirm the rebound smoothly, the installation is complete.

取付方法

１．大型プーリーよりオフセットが増大します、RDとフレームを正しくキャリブレーションしてください

２．チェーンの長さを確認してください
チェーンは最も小さいチェーンリングと歯車にセットし、写真の通りゼロテンションの状態から10～20mm長くなといけません。

３．チェーンの長さとRDフレームのアライメントを下げる要件として新しい16T、17TS、17TRプーリーをご紹介致します。
17T と比較して0.2w効率ダウンしますが、チェーンの安定とシフティング速度がアップします。

ディレイラープーリに交換する理由

第一に、多孔質スプリングの位置制限により、バックテンションを大幅に調整し、伸びの弱さを改善し、ガイドホイールとコグの間のチェーンの上下張力をより適切に調整できます。

第二に、リアディレイラー17Tのチェーンとコグの間の接触歯数または制御歯数が、ギアシフト中に多くなります。いくつかのスティックの中央と両側を挟むのと同じように、制御レバーが大きいほど、制御力が強くなります。

最後に、ケージの回転曲線を再設計した結果、上部ガイドホイールとコグの間の距離が改善されました。

取付手順

1.リアディレイラープーリーホイールケージを取り外します。
六角レンチ#2を使用して、プーリーホイールケージのベースの側面にある六角ネジを取り外します。 （元のプーリーホイールケージは写真から削除されています）

2.六角ネジを取り外し、元のプーリーホイールケージとスプリングから取り出します。
（元のプーリーホイールケージは写真から削除されています）

3. 17Tカーボンファイバープーリーホイールケージには、1〜4のマークが付いた8つの張力調整用の穴があります。
他の4つは重量を減らすためです。
デフォルトの初期取り付けは穴2です（張力：4> 3> 2> 1）。

4.選択したスプリング取り付け穴をスプリングピンに取り付けます。
プーリーホイールケージのステンレス製シャフトには、取り付け前にグリースを塗ってください。

5.プーリーホイールケージをリアディレイラーの穴に押し込みます。

6.プーリーホイールケージを回転させリアディレイラーにプーリーホイールケージをネジいっぱいまで設置します。

7.プーリーホイールケージをリアディレイラーのベースに完全に押し込みます。

8. 六角レンチ#2を使用しリアディレイラーのベース側面の穴に六角ネジを差し込みます。

9.ネジを締めます。

10.プーリーホイールケージの回転を繰り返しスムーズにリバウンドすることを確認したら完了です。
